The Burbank Community YMCA partners with Children Mending Hearts, another non-profit organization, to provide incredible opportunities for children and visual arts. Children Mending Hearts do various arts and crafts projects with kids in the community, teaching a lesson about empathy with each.
Each class has a message of hope, positivity, and kindness, teaching children understanding and care while they complete an art project they can take home or use to decorate the classroom and improve the community space. Kids love the dynamic and interesting art projects, and they get to learn about empathy and caring at the same time!
