Our Arthritis programs are approved by the Arthritis Foundation. In our classes we use warm water to soothe pain and stiffness, increase mobility & flexibility and improve overall balance. Water temperature is at 91 degrees during the Aqua Arthritis classes. All classes are held in the Training Pool.
Our trained instructors will lead you through exercises specifically designed to help improve range of motion in your muscles and joints by using the resistance of the water to improve muscle tone in a safe and pain free way. All exercises are modified to your ability to regain flexibility and strength.
AQUA ARTHRITIS CLASSES INCLUDE:
Aqua Arthritis Program
This water exercise program will help you increase joint range of motion, build muscle strength and reduce pain and stiffness. Classes are held in the Training Pool.
Balance & Core
This class emphasizes core strength through balance and stretching using all muscle groups. Great for overall rejuvenation.
Balance & Fit
A low impact exercise class that is based on principals incorporating muscular conditioning and flexibility to promote general fitness and gain enhancement. Exercises will work major muscle groups of the body to promote muscular balance and reduce the risk of fall and injury.
A low impact water exercise class held in our warm water training pool. This class is designed to promote good joint health while toning and strengthening muscles. (This is NOT an Arthritis Foundation Class).
Sculpt & Tone
A low impact exercise class held in our warm water training pool. This non-cardio workout is designed to isolate the muscles and to sculpt and tone the upper and lower body.
Stretch & Strengthen
A low impact exercise class held in our warm water training pool. This class is designed to stretch & strengthen the muscles in a calm relaxing environment.
Therapeutic Aqua Yoga
A series of Yoga postures and movements for strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation.
