Summer Day Camp 2024
Nobody does summer camp better than the Y. And this season, we’re kicking it up another notch with amazing activities, adventures and learning experiences that’ll create lasting, best-summer-ever memories.
The Burbank Y’s summer day camp is fully accredited by the American Camp Association. That means we’ve met the most rigorous standards for organization, safety, health and program development. So when you send your youngster to our camp, you can be sure that they will have the highest quality experience.
The 2024 summer day season starts May 28th and continues through August 7. Registration opens on February 20th, 2024. The camps are hugely popular, so the earlier you register, the better your chances of getting the week(s) you want.

JOURNEY

Journey introduces youngsters to what camp is all about! This is the perfect camp for children who will be starting TK/kindergarten in the fall. There are a wide variety of hands-on enrichment activities, active play options each day, and even water play to stay cool throughout the summer! Campers also get two days of swim lessons at our YMCA pool as well as a fun and exciting field trip.
VOYAGER

Voyager Camp is designed with the younger camper in mind. These activities focus on each camper's physical, emotional, cognitive and social development and include arts & crafts, and imaginative play. Campers get an opportunity to swim at our main YMCA facility 2x a week and a fun and exciting field trip 1x a week!
DISCOVERY

Discovery focuses on teaching children through fun, creativity and active play. Campers are actively participating in physical games that promote fitness and movement, while arts & crafts stimulate the imagination. Discovery Camp's location is at Brace Canyon Park and campers swim twice a week at our local pool. They will also go on a fun and exciting field trip 1x a week!
EXPLORER

Explorer gives older school-aged campers a chance to develop and experience new adventures. Opportunities are offered for campers to make their own choices. Each week consists of swimming twice a week at our local pool. Campers will go on a fun and exciting field trip 1x a week!
ADVENTURE

Adventure camp is for older campers ready to learn early leadership skills with a focus on our six pillars of character: Respect, Responsibility, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Fairness, Caring. Adventure awaits!
Swimming will take place 2x a week at a local Burbank pool. Campers will go on 2 fun and exciting field trips a week.
Journey & Voyager Leadership Assignments
What does this mean? Once a week, adventure campers will be assigned to our youngest camps, Journey and Voyager, to get a first hands on experience leading and helping with activities for the day. We want to build strong and confident adventure campers that will hopefully one day become a Counselor in Training (C.I.T.).
Little Riddles Summer Camp
Children will learn casting, acting, singing and set production with two live performance at the end. This camp will be divided into 3 sessions.
